Correction requests
The form collects the selected page, issue category, message, optional evidence link and language. It does not ask for a name or email address. Avoid sending private personal information. Your request is stored for the publisher to review and is not posted publicly.
Your receipt link reveals only the request’s status and the publisher’s response, not your original message. Anyone with that link can view those details, so keep it private. The publisher may receive your submission by email through an SMTP provider. Readers receive updates through the receipt link, not email.
Email updates
Newsletter registration stores your email, language, consent and subscription status. The publisher receives a private notification when you confirm your subscription. We send a confirmation link before activating your subscription, then a welcome email and notices of newly published research updates. An SMTP provider processes these emails. We do not sell the subscriber list or share it with the research agent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We retain delivery and consent records to handle retries and prevent unwanted mail. We do not add email tracking pixels.
Technical information
Short-lived hashed network identifiers help limit repeated form submissions. The application removes expired rate-limit records during later submissions. Hosting providers may process technical request information to operate and secure the service.
The site does not add advertising trackers. Sharing links contact the selected social platform only when you activate them; that platform’s privacy rules then apply. Fonts may load from Google Fonts; original source links lead to external websites with their own practices. Your browser may store normal site assets in its cache.
Optional analytics
On elpasoinfocus.com, Google Analytics loads only after you allow it. It helps us understand page readership, language, topic and source navigation, sharing choices and completed form steps. Google may process cookie identifiers and technical information about your device and visit. Our Analytics property retains event and user-level data for 14 months, without extending that period for new activity. We do not send email addresses, form contents, receipt codes, user IDs or URL queries and fragments to Analytics. We disable advertising features and Google Signals. Our custom source-link measurement includes only the source host and path; referrer information is limited to its origin.
Declining does not affect access or email subscriptions. Your analytics choice is saved in this browser for six months; you can change it using Analytics preferences in the footer. Withdrawing permission clears this site’s Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop measurement. Analytics cookies, when allowed, expire six months after being set; new activity does not extend that expiry. This choice is separate from newsletter consent. Local and UAT previews do not load Analytics. Google’s privacy policy explains its processing.
Editorial access
The publisher review area requires authorized access. Submitted messages are available to the publisher for verification and follow-up. A public response should avoid personal information.
Your choices
You can read the research without completing the form. To request removal or raise a privacy concern, submit a new request with your receipt code and explain the concern. Do not include sensitive information to prove identity.
